Sourcing for Twain quote?

[edit]

Anyone know of a source for the descriptive quote on this page other than "Mark Twain's notes"? The citation is an article about Bloodgood on longislandgenealogy.com, which doesn't give a source (it's also a historical hobbyist's site that offers the disclaimer "Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information on The Long Island Genealogy Website we are all subject to human error, therefore researchers should, whenever possible, check the original source of any information.")
