Great article! Minor edits 04/03/24

I thought this article was very thorough and well written. I especially appreciated how well it was organized, with many clear headings and subheadings. To edit it, I made some minor grammatical changes, including adjusting sentence structure were phrases were unclear. I also added hyperlinks to other Wikipedia pages throughout the article. I think your first paragraph is kind of awkward and can be reworded. You talk about its family, then its subfamily, then go back to talking about its family. This might throw the reader off and in my opinion does not flow naturally. I moved the last sentence of your second paragraph into your first paragraph to avoid redundancy. You mention how the beetle can jump in the first paragraph, so immediately after you can mention how this gives the beetle the ability to escape predators. I would also include some information about geography in your opening paragraphs. For example, right after the last sentence of your second paragraph, you can mention geography of the Rhus plants and connect it to in your next section. All in all, your article is very exceptional and well-written. Kidsnextdoor954 (talk) 03:49, 12 April 2024 (UTC)KidsNextDoor954[reply]

Most of the edits I made were small edits. I fixed capitalization throughout the article. There were a few grammar issues, usually consisting of forgetting to add an "s" at the end of words or adding them where they were unnecessary. I also fixed some species name issues, as some didn't fit the proper format. I changed a few headings in order to properly fit the wikipedia format. One issue I found is that Rhus plants are quite vague. The beetle itself has "sumac" in the common name but the article doesn't clarify really if they only eat sumac or if it is all Rhus plants. I think it would help to address why the common name is right/wrong somewhere in the article. It is vague otherwise. I did enjoy reading the article, and that was the only major question I had.
