Initial comments
  • Shouldn't iOS be linked in its first mention rather than its second? (Also, was it exclusively released for iPhones and iPads or was it not released for iPods?)
  • Is there any app icon for this game that can be used on the infobox?
Review of images and other files
  • All the files used in the page were verified by me—it's all great material, with permission to use confirmed by OTRS.

Lead

[edit]
  • I'm pretty sure that "snakelike" isn't a word. Still, to avoid copying "snake-like" from Gameplay, you should reword it (e.g. a line that resembles a snake, or something like that)
  • "clear colored dots" is ambiguous
  • "The game received "generally favorable reviews", according to video game review score aggregator Metacritic" I don't think Metacritic needs to be mentioned in the lead. This sentence could be replaced by "The game received mostly positive reviews from video game critics, who [praised this/criticized that] (...)"
  • "Reviewers praised its affordances for player freedom" seemed a bit out of place as well (considering it comes after a sentence describing the app's commercial aspects)

Development

[edit]
  • The first instance of FN5 could be removed (per overciting policies)
  • Business Insider shouldn't be italicized in its ref. (and can be wikilinked to Business Insider)
  • Can you explain how "they did share the game directly with media outlets"
  • IndieGames.com shouldn't be italicized in its ref, and neither should Polygon

Reception

[edit]

The following comments regarding stylization apply to text, infobox and references pertaining to the sources:

  • Edge should be italicized but TouchArcade, Eurogamer, Kotaku shouldn't
  • Eurogamer shouldn't be italicized on the ref
  • The second paragraph should only have FN5 cited once, at the end of "(...) complex prospects into "natural" solutions"
Other comments
Thanks for the review! I'll have more time to look this weekend, but about the multiple italics comments: WP:ITALICS ("Online magazines, newspapers, and news sites with original content should generally be italicized") is my rationale. czar  05:46, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also re: the Development FN5 comment, that's there per WP:MINREF citation requirements for direct quotations. czar  05:58, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the clarification. Still, TouchArcade doesn't belong in that category, and neither does Kotaku. I'm having second thoughts on Kotaku and IndieGames, as they are blogs (and Kotaku is published by Gawker, a company who owns blogs of which their reliability has been questioned). WP:NEWSBLOG doesn't apply here either. Nevermind, I just checked the video games WP's sources page and those are indeed acceptable. pedro | talk 12:41, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Prism, I think I addressed everything. Want to take a look? (Non-struck italics and footnote comments still apply to previous logic.) Re: the icon, I'm talking with the dev about a free use version. And "snakelike" is indeed a word in my dictionary of choice, the New Oxford American Dictionary—I think its a good word for a concept that's hard to describe. czar  03:41, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Now promoting it to GA. Congrats pedro | talk 11:20, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
