The link for this has expired: Top Army Lawyer Also Was A Combat Hero…Winship's Record In Puerto Rico Was Hardly Heroic by Robert F. Dorr, Puerto Rico Herald. May 3, 2004.

The above cite is incorrect. The correct citation is: Top Army Lawyer was Also a Combat Hero by Robert F Dorr, and Letter to the Editor by Lt Col Esteban Jimenez.

And the new url is http://www.puertorico-herald.org/issues/2004/vol8n35/TopArmyLawyer.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rumjal (talkcontribs) 03:28, 25 October 2008 (UTC) rumjal 03:11, 25 October 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rumjal (talkcontribs) rumjal 03:31, 25 October 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rumjal (talkcontribs) [reply]

RMS Titanic

[edit]

A search on Google discloses that President Taft ordered then Major Blanton Winship to search for his old Bachelor Officers Quarters roommate Major Archibald Butt who was a passenger in first class on Titanic and was a Presidential Aide [1] When the Carpathia failed to return Major Butt, Winship was ordered to search among the drowned corpses retrieved from Titanic's sinking by the cable ship Mackay-Bennett in Halifax NS.. but Butt's body was never recovered. JAG School

[edit]

I want to suggest that the US Army jag School be asked to help write this article. They are the scholars of the Army and would do a great job. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Army_Judge_Advocate_General%27s_Corps Kemual (talk) 05:07, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
