[edit]"Blanco y Negro Records was established in 1983 by Geoff Travis once he left his previous record label, Rough Trade Records."
this is incorrect. geoff travis never left rough trade; blanco y negro was travis' outlet for bands he discovered that he felt weren't "right" for rough trade (ie. The Dream Academy, Jesus & Mary Chain.) opalxx 19 feb 2007
Actually the above is not correct either. Blanco was, initially at least, funded by Warner Bros. and run jointly by Travis, Mike Alway (from Cherry Red and, later, El) and Michal Duval from Les Disques Du Crepuscule. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.128.190.96 (talk) 01:06, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
