There is a blog post that's been spreading around lately putting forward an alternate take on the circumstances behind Blanche's confinement. The blogger cites a book titled The true history of the sequestration of Poitiers by French historian Jean-Marie Augustin. I'm wondering if this book should be cited here, since it uses testimonies made by the family's servants to back up its claims and is cited in the French version of the article.
