[edit]no don't delete this article, he is interesting and deserves to be known about and it has sources and citations there is no good reason to delete it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.155.225.195 (talk) 12:31, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- It needs rewriting, though. It sounds too much like a puff piece, and not enough like an encyclopaedia entry 19:21, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit]The "writing mentors in the film industry" link is broken and should be updated. Couldn't find any template for that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.61.228.85 (talk) 00:03, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
Title clarification required?
[edit]“ | The title Save the Cat! is a term coined by Snyder and describes the scene where the audience meets the hero of a movie for the first time [emphasis added]. The hero does something nice, e.g., saving a cat, which makes the audience like the hero and sympathise with him. His inspiration for this was the movie Alien, where Sigourney Weaver's character Ellen Ripley saves a cat named Jonesy. | ” |
. . . Except Ripley doesn't save the cat until the end of the film.
