[edit]According to this article, Ross dropped out of Stanford. Can anyone verify this? ClamIAm 05:58, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
Yes this is true. Blake is currently working on a startup with Joe Hewitt. Check out his blog for more info. - Sohil
IEEE spectrum magazine
[edit]I don't typically edit articles, so I would rather not un-pretty up the format, however I did just receive the November 2006 IEEE Spectrum magazine, which features Blake Ross on the front page. The article is on page 27 and is named "The Firefox Kid".
The summary of the article starts "Blake Ross helped make Firefox one of the biggest open-source success stories ever. Just wait until you see what he's up to now"
If anyone more wikipedia-oriented would like to add this information, go right ahead. I hope this was of help. 68.81.198.36 21:19, 2 November 2006 (UTC) Anon.
Aphantasia
[edit]Blake Ross announced on his Facebook page on April 22, 2016 (https://www.facebook.com/notes/blake-ross/aphantasia-how-it-feels-to-be-blind-in-your-mind/10156834777480504) that he has aphantasia (recently-named condition; it's the inability to form visual images mentally). He hadn't previously thought that aphantasia was a condition: he had believed that picturing things in one's mind was humanly impossible, and that references to doing such things were figures of speech.
