Northern connect

Has Blackrod to Blackpool north been incorporated into Northern Connect yet? Or is that still planned for the future? Maurice Oly (talk) 23:00, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Finan, station master

My Dad, Michael Finan was the station master at Blackrod in the late 1950s early 60s after he left the Army. Previously he was a D day veteran in the navy. I remember helping him one day with the parcels and packages on a mail train and also lighting the gas lamps on the foot bridge. Paul Finan 82.132.186.5 (talk) 21:33, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
