The result of the move request was: page moved. Vegaswikian (talk) 07:28, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
This article should probably be moved to Blackie (guitar) so that Blackie (disambiguation) can take its place. Most of the (correct) incoming links are the result of {{Eric Clapton}} and {{Fender Stratocaster}} and this is trivial to fix. I don't think it's reasonable to consider this guitar as the primary topic for the term "Blackie" since it's
- a) a common nickname for various people including an artist known as B L A C K I E and an Argentine journalist whose article in the es.wiki is at es:Blackie
- b) a common shorthand for Blackie and Son Limited
- c) Blackie, Alberta
- d) the surname of a number of people who have articles on Wikipedia.
a, b and c are likely to generate incorrect internal links. Pichpich (talk) 21:21, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Agree, particularly as this "Blackie" is one guitar and not a type of guitars. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 09:09, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
- Support. Important as this guitar may be, it's certainly not the primary usage of the term. Andrewa (talk) 09:57, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
- Support this is weird that the guitar is primary... 70.29.208.247 (talk) 04:49, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
