YouTube links
[edit]This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed or you would like to help spread this message contact us on this page. Thanks, ---J.S (t|c) 05:12, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Mistake
[edit]Did anyone notice that when Blackadder first enters the machine and closes the door a person can be seen pushing the door up? Should this be added to the article?--Dr.-B 02:47, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- that sort of thing belongs on imdb, not here —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.41.94.238 (talk) 01:27, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Link creation help, please
[edit]I just added the first paragraph under the Plot heading, as I felt the information relevant, and tried to create internal piped links to the film The Time Machine [[1]] and to the book by H.G. Wells [[2]] but am rather new to Wiki editing and did not manage to get a good result despite doing my best to follow the instructions. Could someone help? Lorielle 06:27, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- Vanderdecken, thanks for your linking instructions. Who could have guessed it was that simple? Lorielle 20:15, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Removal of Time Machine reference?
[edit]Bob Castle, the reference to The Time Machine is so obvious that it speaks for itself, if you watch original and then Atkinson's sublime travesty of it immediately after. I'm sure this would be confirmed by the directors if asked. However, I have no intention of bugging them with a question about it and won't argue if mentioning this breaks some rule I wasn't aware of. Just thought it could be an interesting point. - I'm afraid obvious doesn't cut it. Unless someone involved with the production has explicitly stated (in a way that can be referenced such as in a DVD extra, an interview, in a book or online) that this is correct then it can't be included. Just because some viewers believe it to be that way doesn't mean it can be introduced into the article, as that would come under the heading of original research. —Vanderdecken∴ ∫ξφ 15:49, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
