Location

The is no doubt that the movie was filmed in Ivory Coast, but this location has no German colony in 1915. In supplemental materials with the CD (Netflicks), the location is the current Cameroon. The film says that it is in French Equatorial Africa, which consisted of the Kamerun. So the plot is centered on Cameroon and not Ivory Coast. KudzuVine (talk) 18:33, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As a matter of fact, this is confirmed from within the film itself (at about minute 85), when the commander of the arriving British colonial troops tells that the Germans signed their (fictional) surrender of the colony at Yaoundé. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.120.181.115 (talk) 12:18, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
