What was the banned song inspiring this song?
[edit]What was the banned song about an interracial relationship, inspiring M+M's song? I vaguely recalled it might have been "Original Sin" by INXS released late in 1983, which had the refrain about "Dream on, White boy / Dream on, Black girl / And wake up to a brand new day / To find your dreams have washed away."
