The result of the debate was PAGE MOVED per discussion below. -GTBacchus(talk) 01:26, 15 January 2007 (UTC) Black Mask (disambiguation) → Black Mask – Name has no "primary use" as the earliest known—the magazine, I think—has lost much notability to moore recent uses, like the film and the comic book character.

- I suspect that the magazine ought to be at the main place - it is the first, and many of the others were named in reference to it. -- Beardo 15:37, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Uh...don't forget the survey and...can you prove that? I mean, two superheroes, three movies and one comics villain don't seem all that...er..."pulpy". But hey, I'm basing that on the subject matter. What do I know? Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 22:00, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Comics replaced the pulps, and The Batman is influenced by detective pulps in particular. The rest, I don't know. (The Japanese series seems mere coincidence as they also have Red Mask etc.) -- Beardo 22:27, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe, but isn't that still a subjective, OR assertion? I mean, in terms of actual content and subject matter, the majority of uses are very different from each other and the magazine. Wouldn't you agree? Personally, I'd even go as far as to say the main similarity, if one exists, is that three fictional characters were named after their eyewear, ala The Mask and Horn-Rimmed Glasses.
