integrate Kashyap/Black Friday?

[edit]

The bio on Kashyup is nil. Should we join the two projects into one page - namely a page in the name of the director? Autumnleaf 20:26, 23 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why no Wikipedia entry on the Hindi political drama, "Parzania"?

[edit]

Film is about communal riots in Gujarat in 2002 where thousands of Muslims were slain. Film released around same time as BLACK FRIDAY but has been banned in India's state of Gujarat. It's getting a lot of press and every Hindi film buff I know is perplexed as to why Wikipedia has no article on this. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.215.230.160 (talk) 20:24, 8 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

VCD cover of film spells Memon as Memon only

[edit]

The last para of the article states that the DVD cover of the film spells Tiger Memon as Menon but I know that the VCD cover of the film spells it correctly.

Fair use rationale for Image:Black friday banner.jpg

[edit]

Image:Black friday banner.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

correcting tense

[edit]

I have gone through and tried to correct the tense in a few areas. Please have a look and let me know if more work needs to be done, or if the tag can finally be removed. thanks k84 (talk) 15:16, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No response, I am going to remove the correct tense tag, please add it back if you think more work is required. k84 (talk) 16:01, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2004, not 2007

[edit]

Its date of first release is 2004. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.238.167.214 (talk) 05:03, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. I am reviewing this. Comments to follow. Veera Narayana 17:00, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work on this, mostly spotless, but need some clarity on the following:

  • "Kashyap then suggested to director Aditya Bhattacharya that he make it into a film. When Kashyap told him he felt there was a film to be made about the event, Bhattacharya gave it to him to direct." -- Here, what i understood was that Kashyap offered Bhattacharya this script to direct, who instead suggested that Kashyap did it. If i was right, please tweak this line into something simpler and rather straight to the point.
Done
  • What Newstrack was exactly?
Can you point me towards it?
  • We have already introduced Aditya Bhattacharya as the supposed director of the TV series. Why go after his full name again and again?
Fixed
  • Coming to the image, despite being an outsider, i can say that Mumbai has more than one major slum that is Dharavi, like say, Kamatipura? Which slum are you referring to in the image?
Dharavi is the biggest slum in Asia and several scenes of the film were shot here.
  • When you wikilink anything in the references, be uniform. Either link everything in the first instance of many, or don't link any.
Done.

Veera Narayana I have hopefully resolved the above queries. Yashthepunisher (talk) 05:26, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
