Clean-up
[edit]This page could use some serious cleanup. It doesn't have the standard biography box; not so much as a birthdate; no photo; until I got here it had only general references but no citations. Someone more knowledgeable than I could do some good work here; so far I've only added the pronunciation of her name for the benefit of those who have only read it and never heard it. - I've done a bit towards standardizing it (as have others); but more work is still needed. --Orange Mike 19:22, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Star Trek campaigns
[edit]Solow and Justman in Inside Star Trek say these campaigns never succeeded, but were quite irritating. Unless there's a better source, merely noting they occurred rather than attributing cause seems germane.MartinSFSA (talk) 14:33, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- That's been a year and half with no evidence these camping did anything but annoy. So we'll just remove any suggestion they did otherwise, while leaving in that they existed. MartinSFSA (talk) 08:48, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Assessment
[edit]I have adding a quality assessment rating and importance rating to this article. Feel free to change them as the article improves! Also, feel free to add more issues to the list below, and strike them out (strike) when they're completed. — OranL (talk) 20:42, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Notable issues
[edit]- The article is not written in summary style.
- The article needs more verifiable sources and more in-line citation.
Interview - possible biographical source
[edit]Startrek.com has an interview with Trimble that could fill in some missing biographical details: http://startrek.com/article/bjo-trimble-the-woman-who-saved-star-trek-part-1 Powers T 15:54, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Betty Jo vs. Betty JoAnne
[edit]The first paragraph lists her given names as "Betty JoAnne", but the infobox says she was born "Betty Jo". Did she add "Anne" after joining Fandom -- maybe after marrying JT? Or is this an inconsistency that should be corrected? If so, which way?Bgoldnyxnet (talk) 20:07, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
Title and subject
[edit]There is not a separate article for Bjo's husband, John Trimble. It seems that most of what she did that was notable, she dis as a partner with her husband. Should the article by changed to ""Bjo and John Trimble"? 05:53, 24 June 2024 (UTC) Hjal (talk) 05:53, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
