If the contributor mentioned is me, I would like to explain: The connection is not close, we both just happen to have a connection with NTNU: NTNU is the second largest university in Norway, with campuses in three cities: Trondheim, Gjøvik and Ålesund. 6 1/2 years ago I retired from my job as a scientific librarian and head of the Architecture & Civ.Eng. Library in Trondheim, while Bjørn Hofmann works in Gjøvik. I have never met or communicated with professor Hofmann, I just found his fields of research interesting, and (based on citations etc) they also seem to interest scientists and others internationally. I started an article in the Norwegian version of Wikipedia, and "helped" the article that someone else had already started here in the English version. Today User:Willbb234 has, quite correctly, removed lots of unsourced material (not added by me!) from the article, and also did some cleanup this morning. The article now consists of relevant information that is, or easily may be, "sourced", so I suggest the «close connection» warning be removed, but I prefer that someone else removes it. Kjersti Lie, I placed the COI tag but that was due to the number of external links added into the text by Karibg. Such links are usually added by someone related to the subject. This user has not edited any other article, another indication of a COI. The have also uploaded a photo of the subject to commons that they claim they took. I agree the article appear neutral, so I will remove the tag and replace it with more citations needed. MB14:47, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
