Bjärka-Säby Castle → Bjärka-Säby Château – Please place your rationale for the proposed move here. Jane loves pears (talk) 23:26, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
It is a chateau, not a castle (a fortified structure). Indeed the only English-speaking source in the article says it's a castle, but that is wrong. This is one of the things that Swedes translate wrongly more often than right. Moving the article to "Bjärka-Säby chateau" would be most appropriate. --217.21.224.147 (talk) 21:07, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed. --Jane loves pears (talk) 23:01, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed - The definition of chateau is "a large French country house or castle," but I think the title change is warranted since chateau is a better descripton of this building. It seems to be mentioned online as both a chateau and a castle, and the French Wikipedia article uses chateau in the title. I propose we change it. DoctorG (talk) 16:01, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- Maybe some other word is better than chateau. You native English speakers should be better at finding alternatives than me. But not castle. --Jane loves pears (talk) 13:28, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
