"Gospel magic for pagans"
[edit]The phrase "Gospel magic for pagans" needs a reference since quotations assumes a cited source. Please add a cited reference or some kind of verification that provides credibility to this quote. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.140.22.43 (talk) 18:51, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
I've been involved with Bizarre for years and this is not a common phrase, in fact this is the first I've ever heard it. I've removed it for accuracy.FreedominThought (talk) 22:57, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
The phrase was used as a joke during a discussion at the Convocation in Blackpool in either 1999 or 2000 - think it was 2000 as Eugene Berger was present. It was during a discussion about story lines in Bizarre Magic and somebody commented "if we carry on along those lines we will end up as gospel magic for pagans." It's general use is probably not appropriate and I agree it is not a common phrase, so it's removal is wise.Paul Wren (talk) 07:45, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I removed a couple of links, one was broken and one was an ad site.FreedominThought (talk) 23:15, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

This Wiki
[edit]I have been working with established Bizarre Magicians who are published creators and known public figures to make this more relevant. All edits I have made are researchable online with a simple Google search and a minimum of deep diving. However, deeper research would only additionally verify the edits. Please discuss or research before deleting. Contribute and not censor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vwjr (talk • contribs) 19:08, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- Information MUST be supported by references to reliable sources, a person or company's own website is NOT a reliable source for their inclusion here. You also need to consider if an entry is notable - listings of names with no indication of notability are unacceptable. Saying edits are "researchable online with a simple Google search and a minimum of deep diving" is NOT acceptable in terms of referencing or establishing notability. Why do you want to delete this info so badly instead helping by doing the bare minimum of work. If you are the more experienced editor, then help drop some sources with some research. I am literally asking you to help make this better and more relevant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vwjr (talk • contribs) 19:46, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- NONE of those links are reliable sources for Wikipedia. Again - you need to read and comply with WP:RS. Refusal to do so is likely to be seen as disruptive. DuncanHill (talk) 19:49, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
