Requested move
[edit]Roman Catholic Diocese of Kammin → Bishopric of Cammin — The article is not only about the Catholic diocese, but also about the secular territory of the bishops, which outlived the Catholic diocese by ~100 years as a principality. The subjects are to tied to split the article, thus a title should be chosen which reflects both. The spelling with a "C" (644 hits) should be preferred over the "K" spelling (616 hits) as it was the contemporary spelling also. Skäpperöd (talk) 09:20, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
- Entirely sensible. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 19:19, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Bishopric of Bamberg
[edit]The article included a line saying Otto of Bamberg missioned on behalf of the Bishopric of Bamberg. This was referenced to Davies, where it was however not noted. As I could not find anything else supporting this connection, I removed it for now. Skäpperöd (talk) 08:51, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Synchronize with
[edit]This article needs links and synchronization with the modern Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Szczecin-Kamień and the (just created) List of bishops of Szczecin-Kamień. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:20, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- What do you mean by "synchronization"? Skäpperöd (talk) 18:44, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- For starters, we don't need two lists of bishops, so the list from this article should be moved to the list article; further, the list article, created by me, can probably benefit from addition of German names (since I was basing on the list from pl wikipedia).--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:14, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
We can't do that, because the historical and the modern diocese have nothing in common but the site of a cathedral. The historical diocese ceased to exist in 1534/44, the modern one was set up in a completely different area and administrative format in 1972 (?, not sure about the exact date). Sz-Ka is not the successor of Cammin. Skäpperöd (talk) 08:05, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
