Missing bio and photos
[edit]I started this article because I believe that Bishnu's heroism definitely makes him deserving of a mention. Somebody should get more biographical info and dig up some PD/FU photos of him. The references might even contain such info or references to such info.FiReSTaRT (talk) 03:28, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
Agreed. He's a hero and I got this warm fuzzy feeling just reading about him. However, are you guys really citing Badass of the Week as a source on Wikipedia? 24.192.88.94 (talk) 01:18, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Indian newspaper report on Bishnu Shrestha
[edit]Here is a report from an Indian newspaper (The Telegraph, in Kolkata): http://www.telegraphindia.com/1100904/jsp/bengal/story_12895050.jsp. It appears that at least some of the facts in the article are incorrect. ″
Medal Story False
[edit]There is no official record of either of those two medals being awarded to that Bishnu Shrestha by the Indian Government Syncrocity (talk) 10:40, 7 August 2016 (UTC) In the quoted reference http://xnepali.net/a-gurkha-soldier-who-fought-40-train-robbers-to-be-felicitated-in-the-republic-day-of-india/ the announcement of the award has been struck out . Also the photo accompanying the article has been very badly photoshopped - look at his right hand
