[edit]What is this guy's name, Birjis Qadra, Berjis Qadr, or what? What do most sources use? PatGallacher (talk) 01:28, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- As articles go, this is a bit on the short side. He had a most interesting life - made king at 14 in the midst of the Indian Mutiny, exiled to Nepal...isn't there more to say? PiCo (talk) 10:16, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
Biased text
[edit]Qadr was one of only a very a few princes to join the mutiny against the East India Company. The claim that "Qadra and his subjects fought Britain's military presence in India by joining a diverse and united front of Indian kings, queens and rebels to launch the First War of Independence" is inaccurate and biased.Royalcourtier (talk) 00:06, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
- Very true, the only other 'royalty' involved would be Dhondu Pant, Rani of Jhansi, Kanwar Singh and the Rajas of Tulsipur-Dang, although I guess it is hard to draw a line between a zamindar and a 'prince'. I have removed the claim. --Failosopher (talk) 16:56, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
