The result of the move request was: moved for primary topic; incoming wikilinks appear to counter the traffic stats for the novel. -- JHunterJ (talk) 02:05, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

BirdsongBirdsong (disambiguation) – I just do not see how Bird vocalization can not be the primary topic for "Birdsong". Every place or person sharing this name is likely derived from an effort to evoke the song of birds. I would redirect this title to Bird vocalization (to which Bird song already redirects), with a hatnote there noting the disambig. bd2412 T 22:47, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

But no one reads the novel or the Wikipedia article on the novel without an awareness of the title being a reference to a real-world phenomenon. Having a hatnote on Bird vocalization that specifically mentions the novel seems reasonable. Although I'm not very well-versed in disambig issues -- is what I just suggested in violation of a guideline somewhere? elvenscout742 (talk) 06:17, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Birsong might be a (well-deserved) "flavo/ur of the month/year/age" now, but birdsong (as in "bird vocalization") has had and likely will sustain more attention over an ever longer period of time, no..? CsDix (talk) 18:46, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
