History
[edit]My impression (backed by Encyclopaedia Britannica) is that BirdLife was first (1922) called "International Committee for Bird Protection", renamed "International Committee for Bird Preservation" in 1928 and renamed "International Council for Bird Preservation" in 1960. The current version is confusing, and also the information on the Website is confusing, maybe even wrong. Who can help? @Diannaa:? --Kuhni74 (talk) 15:11, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
