Tourette syndrome treatment
[edit]Citation needed for biperiden's usage in treating Tourette syndrome.
All I could find was a case report of treating extrapyramidal symptoms caused by dopamine antagonists in a Tourette syndrome patient.
This one showed resolution of symptoms:
https://doi.org/10.1345/aph.1g331
I also found a case study of biperiden in a patient with schizophrenia and Tardive Tourette-like syndrome induced by antipsychotics, in which it appeared ineffective.

I could not find any source regarding the treatment of TS-proper with biperiden. Sappygang (talk) 12:33, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
Can anybody help clarify following
[edit]"Biperiden is no longer marketed in the United States." Is this statement correct? if so, the reason? Thank you for your kind attention. ThomasYehYeh (talk) 13:51, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
