You have asked me to review one of your good article nominations in return for a review of my good article nomination of Octogeddon. I will accept your request.
1 - Well written
[edit]1a - Clear and concise prose
[edit]- "...automatically locks in to enemies." to "...automatically locks on to enemies."
- Fixed.
- "...by collecting different masks scattered throughout each area, the player gains permanent access to new weapons, each with different traits. Each world features three versions of mask, with the second and third providing an upgrade to the weapon."
- So which is it? Are there different masks scattered throughout each area or world, or is there only three in each area or world? Do they all give access to new weapons or does only one type give access, while the others upgrade it. The source seems to be saying that each area has three masks and they all give new weapons.
- It might be worded confusingly - basically, each of the six worlds has three masks you find. The first in each world grants permanent access to a new weapon, with each weapon having a different trait. The second and third masks simply upgrade the weapon. Open to advice on how to improve the wording. Toa Nidhiki05 17:39, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
- How about "From the beginning, the player has access to the Zamor Launcher, a weak weapon with unlimited ammunition. Each world features three masks. The first one gives the player a new weapon, and the second and third masks provides an upgrade to the weapon." Lazman321 (talk) 13:59, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Works well! I've replaced it with your wording. Toa Nidhiki05 14:08, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- "...features three versions of mask, with the second..." to "...features three versions of the mask, with the second..."
- "...gunfire can be selected from; pressing the A button..." to "...gunfire can be selected from. Pressing the A button..."|
- "Balta gives the villager a mask..." to "Balta gives the Matoran a mask..."
- "...control the Mask of Life; after defeating him," to "...control the Mask of Life. After defeating him,"
- "Development of Bionicle Heroes began in late 2005." to "The development of Bionicle Heroes began in late 2005."
- "...game development and in enemy variety." to "...game development and enemy variety."
- "...but feltBionicle Heroes was too easy..." to "...but felt Bionicle Heroes was too easy..."
- "...praise for both its single-player and multi-player modes." to "...praise for both its single-player and multiplayer modes."
1b - Adherence to the Manual of Style
[edit]All of the required guidelines from the Manual of Style seem to have been followed. The lead summarizes the key aspects of the article. The layout is standard for a video game. There are no words to watch out for. It is clear that the plot section is fictional and only applies to this game. There are no lists. This article does ✓ Pass this criterion.
2 - Verifiable with no original research
[edit]2a - List of references
[edit]The easiest criterion to meet. This article does ✓ Pass this criterion.
2b - Inline citations to reliable sources
[edit]All sources are either primary or reliable. All of the primary sources are used properly and are only used in the story and development sections. The only non-primary source that caught my attention was Planet Gameboy, mostly because I had never heard about it before and it does not have an article. Though it isn't listed in the reliable sources for video games list, it is most likely reliable due to it being owned by 4Players, which is considered reliable. This article does ✓ Pass this criterion.
2c - No original research
[edit]- Citation 4 does not say that the Wii version's camera is controlled through the IR sensor.
- It seems like IGN is glitching out when it comes to multi-page reviews. I've updated the link to use an archived version of the IGN review, which does mention the IR sensor. Toa Nidhiki05 13:54, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Citation 1 does not say anything about hero mode. Citation 2 does, however.
- Same issue as above - not sure why IGN is messing up, but it's fixed now. Toa Nidhiki05 13:54, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
2d - No copyright violations or plagiarism
[edit]With a copyvio score of 20.0%, this article does ✓ Pass this criterion.
