Question

Is Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. the same as Biorad, the 1964 company which became Hadron, Inc. in 1968 and then eventually evolved into present-day Analex Corporation, perhaps a subsidiary? (See this article.)

I am very interested in learning whether or not Earl Brian had any involvement in this Hercules, California, company described by your Wikipedia article. According to questionable commentary by Michael Riconosciuto, the Hercules, California, Bio-Rad occupies a "lot-sharing, property relationship" with a 1979 company known as Hercules Research, and was engaged in biological warfare research in mid-eighties. Your article on Bio-Rad provides very little historical background regarding any such research, or relationships with subsidiaries. Furthermore, nothing at the Bio-Rad website provides any historical information other than "founded in 1952 and incorporated in 1957". (This, of course, clouds the incorporation-reference in the Answers.com article on Analex Corporation above: i.e. "Filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) indicate that Analex was incorporated in New York in 1964 as Biorad, Inc. and four years later assumed the name Hadron, Inc...."). If Bio-Rad and Biorad (of Earl Brian's 1964) are one-and-the-same, then this article needs to present these facts. Hag2 (talk) 15:08, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Removal, and need for verification

Both deleted subsections were direct quotes from Biorad's "Investor Relations" background (i.e. advertising material) and, at a minimum, they must be contained in quotation marks and referenced accordingly. I removed both offending paragraphs as soon as I realized that 192.101.136.224 and 192.101.136.33 were IP addresses which belonged to Bio-Rad Laboratories, and which were responsible for the offending paragraphs. 192.101....., It hardly makes much sense to replace two paragraphs which failed to adaquately identify the author of the commentary with two more paragraphs which continue to fail to adaquately identify the author. To cite as a reason: "I have added info about Bio-Rad taken from Bio-Rad's proxy 2008; this is public information and may be found on EDGAR (SEC) site under "Bio Rad Laboratories" (w/ the space between Bio Rad)" begs the question for the SEC documents need to be identified by specific date and ID numbers. Please be more explicit.
