Established in 1870s or 1880s

I think there is in issue in that the opening says the village was "was established in the late 1870s to house workers at the nearby shale oil extraction works", but the next paragraph says "The shale works at Binnend broke ground in 1878. The village was established a few years later to house workers and their families". A few years later would presumably imply the village was not established until the 1880s. Added to this it is in the catergoies Category:1880s establishments in Scotland and Category:Populated places established in the 1880s. Thus, I wonder if this needs to be reworked for consistency and clarity? Dunarc (talk) 22:59, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
