I have just rolled back an anonymous editor's attempt to replace the entire content of the article with a completely new article about a different Billy Liar.

In the first place, it makes no sense for the page titled Billy Liar (band) to be rewritten to be about a Billy Liar who is not a band.

That aside, if you want to write a new article, the correct procedure is to create a new page for it (with a slightly different title, replacing the "(band)" in the title with something else more appropriate), not to wipe out an existing page. — Paul A (talk) 15:27, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
