- The source is generally compliant. I understand given how reporting works it doesn't literally say within it that he "nearly died", but given the severity of the situation the subject experienced according to the source I'm happy to use that wording.
- I have a bit of concern over the use of the "only NBA player" moniker however. Given the source is from 2014 this is before his NBA career, and recognises him as
