Fair use rationale for Image:BillyEckstineAlbum.jpg
[edit]Image:BillyEckstineAlbum.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:08, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Billy attended Peabody high school with my father in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh. He graduated one year ahead of my father, David, who himself graduated in 1936. J.D. Tuckley —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.203.178 (talk) 18:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Discography
[edit]I've been creating articles for Billy Eckstine albums, and there appears to be some repetition. For example, doing a Goodle search on At Basin St. East and Billy Eckstine and Quincy Jones appear to suggest these are the same albums (they were both released in 1961, so I guess it's possible). Similarly, Billy Eckstine & Sarah Vaughan Sing Irving Berlin generates references to albums of this name released in 1957 and 1961. Can anybody help on this matter? [edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Billy Eckstine. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20130609030438/http://www.enotes.com:80/eckstine-billy-reference/eckstine-billy-295393 to http://www.enotes.com/eckstine-billy-reference/eckstine-billy-295393
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).
