Beecake and linking to myspace
I added a couple of links to this article yesterday, and one of them was removed immediately. Now, I understand very well that myspace isn't generally a reliable source, but in this case it seems to be the only place in the Internet that has anything about Billy's band - and moreover, it's an official profile/page with music samples and information. (here's the link). Is there a strict policy about linking to myspace, or could we re-consider this decision? --Nerwende 07:48, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I'm looking to create a separate page for his band, Beecake! Any information you have about the band of their songs would be much appreciated! Many thanks -- Matideia Roslan 11:39, 19 July 2021 (GMT)
Ecstasy (Irvine Welsh film)
I haven't included this officially in the article because Billy hasn't confirmed it, but there is talk that he may not be involved in this project anymore. See link from The Scotsman: [1] Because of the firing of the Scottish crew and production delays, apparently Billy has backed out of the production. He has not confirmed this officially, and until he does I would advise against including this information in the article.

According to the official website of Ecstacy, Billy's still a part of the cast list: [2] so should this be included in the main article?
Fair use rationale for Image:Pippinprintscreen.jpg
Image:Pippinprintscreen.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:06, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Incorrect Entry?
16:47, 7 June 2008 (UTC)16:47, 7 June 2008 (UTC)~~bONDENSBABE I would like to question this entry.
He currently owns a house in Glasgow with his partner, Tanyajane Fraser. On 26 April 2006, he and Fraser welcomed their first child, son Jack William Boyd.[4]
Billy's partners name is Ali Mckinnon and she is the mother of his son Jack.
Religion?
Does anyone know if Billy Boyd is in a religion? Is he a christian?--65.12.149.195 (talk) 12:47, 12 March 2009 (UTC)someone unknown to Wikipedia users
- I'd guess Church of Scotland, but I have no reliable source to back that up, and I don't know whether he's a regular or lapsed church-goer - sorry! Cheers, This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 12:51, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
"Boyd up" link is down
The link "Boyd up" that is quoted as reference for his parents dying when he was a teen and for him liking surfing is down. I was unable to find any other source about that on a quick google search. There's just the wikipedia article and answers.com that just has the whole wikipedia article stuck in there. --Burek (talk) 13:58, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
his work on Dirk Gently's
Yeah, he is the main Character in a BBC Radio Drama, shouldn't that be somewhere on here?
