COI tag (June 2021)
[edit]User:Cozumel1973 has very few edits outside of this article, and has added large amounts of uncited content. jp×g 03:19, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- @JPxG: They have stated on their talk page they are the subject. I am not sure when the COI tag was removed but I have added it back (before I realized it was removed before) and left a COI notice on their talk page. However, they continue to edit the article. COI clean up
[edit]I have removed content attributed to his consulting firms' accomplishments as that content does not belong in the bio, WP:UNDUE. However, there is certainly more work to be done. Restructuring would help, I think, such as segregating education from political activism. It is difficult to verify the content but I believe at least some on content is essentially coming from his memoir. For example, source 4 citing the The New Republic is a simply a review of his memoir so careful assessment of the sources is needed. Also, some sources may not be easily available for assessment such as old news articles, pay walled sources and books. S0091 (talk) 23:33, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
New edits
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I am requesting that an editor review edits I have made. I am trying to comply with advice from previous editors. To that end, I have made a few minor edits on the page to see if I on the right track. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks. Cozumel1973 (talk) 23:10, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Cozumel1973

- Hi @Cozumel1973, it's appreciated that you're being careful to write neutrally about yourself, but the best practice would be to make suggestions here on this Talk page, and have someone without a CoI review and incorporate. Obviously, small typo fixes, glaring factual errors, etc. can be fixed directly, but any additions of content should be requested here. Best, Politanvm talk 23:14, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
