[edit]Does anyone know of good sources regarding Bill being henpecked into demanding the trade to the Tigers, then into quitting? Our local library used to have a book on the Twins that mentioned that, but I haven't been able to find it, and I can't remember either the name or author. I recall the Twins' report in the Sporting News around the end of June, 1970 stating that he'd been farmed to Toledo (not the Twins' farm club) to be closer to her. (The Baseball Register doesn't show him as playing there at all that year. Jobu (talk) 02:40, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
