Later career
[edit]Uncle Bill went back to my dads+brothers farm in Esh Winning,. County Durham and continued to scout for Fulham in the north east. It was there that he spotted a unknown footballer called Robert Robson from Langley Park. Wor Bobby signed for Fulham in the Farmhouse where we lived, Biil Dodgin done the formalities and the rest is history. {Moved from article (posted by User:90.208.68.41 )) -- Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 18:51, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
I can vouch that this happened, my father did do the above, they had a little office in the farmhouse where he would meet the footballers and managers. The last letter I had from bobby robson said if it wasn't for your father I wouldn't be where I am today and that was when he was Newcastle Manager.
