[edit]

The page has been substantially altered since the "speedy deletion" tag was placed on it.

Can it be re-reviewed ASAP to have this tag removed.

Thank you

It's no longer blatant spam. There's still a conflict of interest, based on your username, and the citations aren't clear. However, I don't think it's currently a candidate for speedy deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 03:57, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You're correct about the potential for conflict of interest (the subject is my father) however this entry is based only on the information in the sites listed.
To emphasise this all the points raised in the entry are now specifically referenced.
The background to this is that it was only from talking to the some young Australian Conservators recently that I've realised how substantial my father's legacy is even though he retired 35 years ago.
As he remains notable in the profession and there are many references to him on the web a Wiki entry would be a good way to link them all together.

Saying all this being my first Wiki entry I'm happy to receive constructive feedback.

Thank you
