Regarding the introduction I was wondering, if there are examples and sources with explanations for the fact of having more than one bilge keel on each side. In particular I was wondering about the installation of bilge keels on vessels with a V-shaped or a trapezoidal formed hull. The article deals well with the advantages and disadvantages and where bilge keels are used. But - it does not say what a Bilge Keel actually is! Which is pretty unhelpful to anyone who came here to find out what is meant by "bilge keel".
