In the summary paragraph the phrase, "seeks to make exchange-rate theory a bit more digestible." strikes me as unfitting for this article. It's an obvious pun on the fact that the article is about Big Macs, and it adds nothing valuable to the article besides humour. As it's sourced, I wouldn't be inclined to remove it, but I would like a consensus on whether or not it should be done. Christiaanp (talk) 07:14, 28 October 2020 (UTC)

Update/unlock

Why is this page locked? I merely wanted to add an update tag- the diagram is great but it is now 9 years old...

Has updated its most to least expensive rankings 21 June 2021.

The rankings section on this page therefore require an update or a table that reflects a year on year change in rankings. Sumimasen-rin (talk) 09:21, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Please provide the updated table. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 10:58, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

In 'Figures' section: 'Six most expensive'

The rankings have changed 21 June 2021.

This statistic shows the most expensive places to buy a Big Mac.

Tunisia (Tunisie) McDonalds

The text says that there are only three African countries with McDonald's, but the map also lists Tunisia, with a color indicating an opening date of "2000 - present".

Trying to figure out which was true, ... I am still not sure.

https://corporate.mcdonalds.com/corpmcd/our-company/where-we-operate.html says they do, but the link is to https://www.facebook.com/McDonaldstunisia which facebook says is unavailable. https://www.facebook.com/McDonaldtunis/ and https://www.facebook.com/McDonalds-Tunisie-officiel--353633758047935/ are still available, but not very active.

https://instablogs.com/why-no-mcdonalds-in-tunisia.html suggests that there were plans to open, but they fell through. I'm not sure it counts as sufficiently authoritative, though.
