What do we do about the Whip
[edit]The band The Whip is Jared's band between Big Biz and Karp (band) with his KARP bandmade Scotty Jernigan and Joe Preston. Clearly this meets notability requirements, but there is now *ANOTHER* band that goes by that name (The Whip (band)), do we include this as a section in the Big Business article? Ideas? [edit]Does anyone think that big business has a stoner rock sound? --Morbid-o 16:53, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Man, Big Business is just awesomely loud ROCK. I wouldn't call them stoner rock. I don't think of stoners when I think of Big Business. They're just...they're just loud. When they played live on 107.7 The End, all the DJs could talk about is how they were playing in the other room (a sound proof room), and it was like they were right there. --EndlessVince 20:13, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- I agree, I feel that the Stoner Rock tag is a misleading one, that is one part of their sound, but there is a definite Noise_rock/Melvins quality to what they do as well, which is ironic since they are IN the Melvins now. --top_pocket_man 10:41, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
ok! I added a bunch of data here, including briefly describing their sound and cleaning up the language about the Melvins. Since they are in the Melvins now, I felt like that would be a good idea. Top pocket man 21:38, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Changes
[edit]Reworded the article so it sounds less like a blog. also removed any excess information and added some needed information. Help out, I'm tired and I probably made some grammatical errors. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.119.10.39 (talk) 08:20, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
