Bear hunt numbers vary but are citeable

[edit]

The number of men sent out and the number of pelts brought back vary from article to article. Please see History. This article describes Wilson as having a party of 20 men that were divided up into two teams who each brought back at least eleven bears that were in the camp at one time. This was posted on Benjamin Davis Wilson's talk page. I do not dispute the numbers as someone else probably researched and wrote this article. Ronbo76 03:54, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

These numbers are taken from a pamphlet article put together by the Big Bear Historical Society.--75.27.249.209 (talk) 17:53, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Days with snow

[edit]

There are normally 16.5 days each year with measurable snow (0.1 inch (2.5 mm) or more).

Only 16.5 days? Should this actually read 'without measurable snow'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.237.186.233 (talk) 08:48, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Siberia Creek flows into Bear Creek below the dam.

[edit]

Siberia Creek does not flow into the lake. It has other tributaries though -- Caribou and Grout Creeks, for instance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.174.53.96 (talk) 00:12, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
