Question?
[edit]I actualy have a question about the big bad voodoo daddy connection with the cherry poppin' daddies, ive looked up quite a fwe differant song and each time they come up with alot of the same things.
- I don't think there is a direct connection. They may have toured or played together, and there certainly has been some compilation swing albums with both, but as far as I know there's no overlap in membership or songs. Both bands started about the same time in two different places (California and Oregon, respectively). BBVD mainly plays classic big-band music in addition to originals written by Scotty Morris. CPD, on the other hand, is more of a punk band (or punk/rock/ska/swing/funk/r&b/fusion), and Steve Perry (not the Journey guy) writes most of their music. —TheMuuj Talk 04:47, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Scott Morris - Ninja?
[edit]A link in the first sentence of the History section points to an article about a Scott Morris who was a fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. I highly doubt that the Scotty Morris of BBVD was ever an Ultimate fighter. I recommend that the link be removed.
Influences
[edit]Does anyone know if they were influenced by Kid Creole and the Coconuts? Or Dr. Buzzards Original Savannah Band (Emphasis on 'Original') Senseiea 08:51, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
[edit]May I suggest some things?
First of all, after taking time to work on each album's Wikipedia article, I realized that there was a trampoline without a jumper or anywhere to jump to. Basically, we bought a concrete trampoline and our children will never forgive us... Anyways, I think that it would be best to either consolidate the articles into a discography page (or maybe just add a discography page as well; they have eight albums), or add to them. If you have ideas, please reply at my talk page. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a concrete trampoline to throw out.
