A) This article is reported as orphaned; On the talk page of "Content-addressable memory" it is mentioned that an earlier article about associative memory has been merged with the article "Content-addressable memory". It is my suspicion that articles about pattern recognintion and neural networks etc with older cross-references to "associative memory" have now come to point to "Content-addressable memory" where "BAM" would be more appropriate. This is only a theory, please note.
B) Obviously, this article is very rudimentary and in need of further development. This may be in whole or in part because of its orphaned state.
