AA - NL
[edit]The statement, "To date, McPhee remains the only member of the American Association (major league, 1882–1891, and the first competitor of the National League) to be elected to Cooperstown", is untrue. For example, John McGraw and Wilbert Robinson also played for both the AA and the NL. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 01:58, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
He is the only Hall of Famer to spend significant time in the American Association. - this statement is inaccurate. Bid spent 42.2% of his PAs in the AA, while Tommy McCarthy did 42.8%. Maybe "he spent the longest in the AA of all hall of famers". That might be accurate, at least of those in as players. 2601:6:8480:6C9:3C24:E12:C663:3E4F (talk) 23:06, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
