Discussion: Removal or rewording of the line stating that bicuculline blocks calcium-activated potassium channels

As of 3/7/2013, 11:40am EST, the line reads:

"In addition to being a potent GABAA receptor antagonist, bicuculine can be used to block Ca2+-activated potassium channels."

The issue with this statement is that the reference article used to support it actually demonstrates that "methyl" bicuculline, rather than bicuculline itself, has the capacity to block these channels. It may very well be that bicuculline can also block these channels, however the aforementioned reference should be changed or the statement should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Organiz (talkcontribs) 16:39, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
