Cast list

[edit]

How about putting together a complete cast list of those having speaking parts ans in order of appearance? That would be far more interesting than what is now in this article and rather informative. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.173.242.58 (talk) 23:09, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Who's the actor who plays Matthew? Looked all over and can't find a name. – Illegitimate Barrister (talkcontribs), 20:37, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Variance from scripture

[edit]

Not much discussion of the plot, which appears to either vary from scripture or extrapolate added details. For example, the cleansing of the temple was actually on the first of 3 visits to Jerusalem, but is portrayed in the same final visit when he is condemned. More viewpoints or reviews might be helpful. To this viewer it has the feel of a modern TV science fiction or superhero series, surely there are major reviews that can be surveyed for impressions. An even more curious variance from Scripture, is the fact Our Lord's Blessed Mother returns to Galilee, after witnessing the Crucifixion, without seeing her Risen Son. Nor does she get to witness His Ascension or the Day of Pentecost(which the Holy Bible makes clear that she was present for both occasions). In addition, although St. Paul becomes an Apostle in this miniseries, he does not meet St. Peter or any of the Apostles. He just does his own rounds in spreading the Gospel.--Splashen (talk) 04:12, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If someone finds reliable source(s) that says that there are discrepancies and where they are found in the (actual) Bible, then we may add it to the article. --Musdan77 (talk) 17:51, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Informational only:

[edit]

The series was encored on Lifetime network (and possibly Biography), if anyone wants to include it with a cite/source. Not sure it is included in the ratings total or not. 99.129.112.89 (talk) 17:50, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Critical reception

[edit]

Why has no one added any critical reception (the kind other TV series and movies receive)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.253.96.174 (talk) 23:44, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is mentioned under TV ratings. --Musdan77 (talk) 02:55, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
