Lal source

Oh yea, that source is really fringe. It basically talks about how the Indo-Aryans actually we’re from India and not from outside, and is just really a fringe source for its main content. When the main focus of the author is so inaccurate and fringe, I highly doubt the content about caste is accurate. These last few decades Lal’s reputation in the international scholarly community has fallen due to his pro-Hindu nationalist works. And personally, I think it just sounds like nonsense that a carpenter caste can claim ancestry from Greeks who came to India thousands of years ago, when we know that the Greeks were absorbed into the general population. I also couldn’t find sources on this caste, which makes me doubt their notability. Chariotrider555 (talk) 17:41, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
