Bhojpuri peoples
[edit]Bhojpuri is an Indo-Aryan language and Bhojpuri is the mother tongue of Bhojpuri people. Moreover, Bhojpuri people belongs to Kashi region, one of the prominent site of Vedic civilisation by Rgvedic Aryan people. So both ethnically and linguistically, these peoples can be grouped as Indo-Aryan people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mywikieditbh (talk • contribs) 10:51, April 22, 2013 (UTC)
- Academic publications such as core.ac.uk, researchgate.net, and academia.edu frequently reference research that mention Bhojpuri as one of the Indo-Aryan languages.
- And a plethora of other academic articles support the theory that Bhojpuri is an part of the Indo-Aryan languages, because it is arguably one of Dialects of Hindi and thus part of the Hindi Belt. PrakitEnjoyer (talk) 21:50, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vedic_civilization i hope you can get the source from this page. Mywikieditbh (talk) 07:18, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
- A> Wikipedia is not intrinsically a reliable source. B> the page you cited doesn't even mention "bhojpuri". I wanted a secondary source that says something like "Bhojpuri people are of Indo-Aryan descent". Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 07:44, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
You're clueless of what you are talking about. Bhojpuri people are actually those peoples who are centered at "Kashi" region. And i don't think, that page doesn't mention of Kashi. Mywikieditbh (talk) 14:59, 23 April 2013 (UTC) And one more thing, Bhojpuri is an Indo-Aryan language, so it's NATIVE speakers obviously Indo-Aryans. Think logical! Now, from the two maps provided, it is clear that Bhojpuri peoples belong to or are a part of Bihari people and peoples of Uttar Pradesh.
