This is refutation of the source which is used for establishing that Bhagat Parmananda was a Gaur:
The source mentioning him as Gaur doesn't contains adequate background information about him and probably the author didn't researched much about him;
While this source [here] got more adequate information about him, here is a Contemporary [source] by his Contemporarily saint from the Sect he belonged to;
Although the 2nd and Contemporary source I feel is not eligible to cite on wikipedia, it proves of him being a Kanyakubja as no authentic source calls him a Gaur 2409:4089:BE37:7B72:0:0:2DCB:7C08 (talk) 20:29, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
