Requested move

[edit]

Bexley Hall (Seminary)Bexley Hall – naming guidelines and simplicity; the new name is now vacant but is blocked by a redirect page; there seems to be no GFDL history to save at the redirect Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 17:40, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This disambig page Bexley Hall (disambiguation) was where Bexley Hall ended up. I'm questioning changing that Bexley Hall to a redirect to the stub about the seminary, when Bexley Hall (MIT) is actually a longer article/section. I'm also questioning if one is significantly more notable, an MIT dormatory or a Episcopal seminary. The person who made the move obviously thinks the seminary is more notable. I would argue that neither is significantly more notable. Having lived in the dorm for 4 years I'll admit a bias, but I suspect the dorm is known by more graduates than the seminary.--J Clear 23:43, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there is much to choose in notability. Yet, Bexley Hall should not remain vacant. If there is no chance of a separate article for the dorm in the next few weeks, then for now, it might as well be the seminary stub, with a top disambiguation to List of MIT undergraduate dormitories. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 13:24, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
They come out pretty even in notability in a Google search. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 13:39, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
