[edit]Read the article stranger than fiction eh?
- Not really. And it's not very interesting or notable either. It's just another of many articles that should be deleted for lack of notability. Boneyard90 (talk) 10:04, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

This topic is worthy of attention even though it is difficult to imagine the law ever changing to satisfy a situation like theirs.
I knew Betty for years and met George a few times. Words that describe them would be wonderful, intelligent, articulate, positive, energetic, courious, thoughtful, kind, passionate, succesfull, full of life, etc. They were not depressed in any way. On the surface it seems strange to choose to end life when one is healthy. In talking to Betty, I believe she felt blessed with her life (loving family, etc) and if her husband, George, were to pass, then she would join him. This was not a decision made in the depth of dispair, it was something they had talked about as any one would do making any difficult choice.
Suicide is always associated with giving up and the belief that ones life could never be happy. But could there ever be a situation where someone is totally satisfied with ones life? Kevin.bc.canada (talk) 18:05, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
